Meet my little neice Lorelei. Technically, I love all six of my nieces and both of my nephews all equally. But Lorelei is the only baby currently, and she fits in that curve of my body so well. So I am a little bit addicted to her.
I got asked by two different student teachers who have children why I don't have kids yet. Usually I have a good answer, like "my husband has cancer," or "I want to graduate." But guess what? My husband doesn't have cancer anymore, and I'm done with school forever and ever in one week. So I just sort of laughed. And until we become parents, I am quite content to love up on my neices and nephews.

Bahaha. What kind of question is that? "Why don't you have kids yet?" Or there's the "Why aren't you married yet?" and "Why aren't you graduated yet?" Classic.
